Drink Water That's Good For You... And the Environment!

Hey, Health Stoppers!

As they say, "Water is Life"

The question is... do you know where your water comes from?
And how does it make you feel?
For optimal health, you want water tested for purity, with a balanced pH level, to truly help alkalize your body, and maintain your body's internal homeostasis.
What if we told you, we now have a pure water (that means fluoride free, too, ladies and gents!), sustainably harvested from pure volcanic springs in Iceland, with a pH of 8.4? What if we also told you, that it comes in recycled, BPA-free packaging, is sustainably shipped, and the distributor of this fine beverage has made strides to reduce its carbon footprint to net zero?
Good for you, and good for the environment?
Yeah. It's here.

Introducing...

Icelandic Glacial is the super-premium natural spring water from the “Land Of Fire and Ice”. Home to glaciers, spouting geysers, volcanoes and raging rivers, Iceland is one of the world’s cleanest ecosystems. It’s also home to the legendary Ölfus Spring, the source of Icelandic Glacial. Formed more than 5,000 years ago and shielded by an impenetrable barrier of lava rock, the Spring is constantly replenished by rain, snow and ice-melt from the nearby mountains. The water is slowly and naturally filtered through layers of volcanic rock, thereby producing a natural spring water so pure that nothing is added or taken away.
A Natural, Renewable Product
With over 900,000 cubic meters of water overflowing from the Ölfus Springinto the ocean every day, it's one of the world's largest natural springs. Indeed, the overflow alone is more than twice the amount of all bottled water consumed worldwide. Taking great care never to damage or deplete the Spring, Icelandic Glacial sources less than 0.1% of the total water that naturally flows to the surface.
The Facility
Icelandic Glacial also takes great pride in running a completely sustainable operation fueled entirely by geothermal and hydroelectric power. At 7,688 sq. ft., the world class facility is one of the world's greenest and cleanest.

Icelandic Glacial is...

Sustainability
The World's First Bottled Water Certified as CarbonNeutral® for Product and Operation CarbonNeutral® Certification.
Icelandic Glacial has worked with The CarbonNeutral® Company, a leading carbon emissions consultant, since 2007. Since that time, Icelandic Glacial has been certified CarbonNeutral® for both its product and operations - an unprecedented move in the beverage industry.
Icelandic Glacial has made a commitment to assess our CO2 emissions and reduce them wherever possible on an ongoing basis. Only after this process has been carried out, and a net-zero carbon footprint achieved, can a company carry the CarbonNeutral® Company certification. Our efforts have been rewarded with international recognition, most notably winning the 2007 Bottled Water World Design Awards for Best Sustainability Initiative, presented at the Global Bottled Water Congress.

Green Energy Sources
The water collected by Icelandic Glacial flows directly into our state-of-the-art bottling plant located right at the source, in Hlidarendi, Iceland at the edge of the Ölfus Spring. We take great pride in running a completely sustainable operation, fueled entirely by geothermal and hydroelectric power.
Efficient Shipping
Icelandic Glacial ships product by utilizing otherwise empty cargo space on vessels already returning to the United States and Europe. This helps Icelandic Glacial reach consumers while leaving the smallest carbon footprint possible.
Recyclable Packaging
The Icelandic Glacial commitment to the fight against global warming is reflected in the bottle and cardboard packaging, which are both 100% recyclable. Consistent with initiatives to further reduce our carbon emissions, Icelandic Glacial has also achieved a 10% reduction in PET preform wastesince 2008.
Recycled Materials
All Icelandic Glacial bottles utilize recycled rPET plastic while the outer box cases are made from 50% recycle paper products.
BPA-Free
All Icelandic Glacial plastic bottles are made from high grade PET-1, which is BPA-Fre.

Quality Controlled By Mother Nature

Naturally Low Mineral Levels for a Fresh, Clean Taste
The Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) level reflects the amount of sodium, calcium, magnesium and other minerals in the water. These affect the taste, balance and character of the water. Icelandic Glacial has one of the lowest TDS levels amongst other premium water brands.
High Alkalinity and Healthy pH Balance
Icelandic Glacial also features a highly desirable, uncommonly elevated and naturally occurring alkaline pH level of 8.4.
